Projects

State Allocation DERA 2012: Street Sweeper Replacement in Clark County, Nevada: the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) received $126,421 to replace a Clark County public works vehicle.
State Allocation DERA 2012: School Bus Exhaust & Anti-Idling Retrofits in Idaho: the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ) received $120,623 to install exhaust and anti-idling retrofits that will reduce diesel school bus emissions.
State Allocation DERA 2012: Reducing School Bus Emissions in California: the California Air Resources Board (CARB) received $454,899 to help retrofit school buses throughout California.
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act: Retrofitting School Buses in San Joaquin Valley: The San Joaquin Valley Unified APCD was selected for $4 million in funding to install 190 diesel particulate filters on 2001 model year and newer diesel school buses. Through diesel emission reductions, the project is expected to protect the health of children who ride these buses daily.
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act: Reducing Diesel Emissions in Phoenix, Arizona: The City of Phoenix will retrofit 45 pieces of city-owned diesel equipment with diesel particulate filters or diesel oxidation catalysts, and replace an aging garbage hauler. The retrofitted vehicles will run on ultra-low sulfur diesel with 20 percent biodiesel.
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act: Reducing School Bus Emissions in San Diego County, California: The San Diego County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) was selected for $1,563,652 in funding to retrofit, replace, and repower 125 high-polluting school buses with newer, cleaner engines and filters.
