The
Construction and Distributed Generation Workgroup is exploring
opportunities to share information and/or seek funding for a variety
of projects including: utilizing the NEPA or CEQA review process to
require construction emissions mitigation plans; contractual incentives,
and providing incentive funding for smaller companies for pollution
controls. The workgroup is also interested in seeking funding to test
mitigation efforts on a current major construction project. Click

- American Recovery and Reinvestment Act: Retrofitting Construction Equipment in California: The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) was selected for $951,431 in funding to install diesel particulate filters on 46 Caltrans-owned construction equipment, including crawler tractors, excavators, forklifts, graders, rollers, rubber tire loaders, surfacing equipment, sweepers, scrubbers, tractors, loaders, and backhoes.
